Extruded
aluminum vs. die cast aluminum
At SEM, Inc., our LED fixture housings are made with
extruded aluminum. This sets us apart from the rest,
because many of our competitors use die cast aluminum
for their LED housings. We chose extruded aluminum
as opposed to die cast aluminum due to its superior
quality and durability. Our LED’s are designed to
last up to 20 years, but we understand that a high-quality
LED is meaningless without a high-quality housing
to protect it. Our extruded aluminum housings extend
the life of the LED’s and ensure maximum LED performance.
